Craftsmanship

Built for speed. Built to last.

01

Hull design

Every Predator runs on a V-bottom with stepped hull aeration — three steps on the 337 and 357, four on the 447-R. Each hull is tuned to walk the fine line between running fast, turning hard and handling heavy offshore weather, and has been refined over many hours of testing and years of experience.

Step
A notch across the bottom that lets air under the hull, reducing wetted surface and drag at speed.
Running pad
A flat section at the keel the boat rides on when it is fast and light.
Notched transom
A recess at the stern that lets the drives sit higher for efficient running.

02

Materials and construction

A boat that must survive wave-beating endurance runs and flat-water speed trials depends on its hull and deck lamination. It comes down to speed versus durability. Predator’s layup has been tested and improved over years of running powerboats and race boats in open ocean — with slow-motion cameras mounted in the hull, g-force measurements across the structure and photography from the air.

  • Vinylester resins

Tough and resistant to water ingress and fatigue.

  • Hybrid Kevlar

Bi-, tri- and quad-directional fabrics for impact strength.

  • Carbon-fibre reinforcement

Added stiffness where loads are highest.

  • High-density Divinycell

A foam core that keeps the structure stiff and light.

A boat shaped around your priorities

Predators are built to order. Upholstery, paint and graphics (from Stage 1 to Stage 3), sound, electronics, a painted and lit engine room and the engine installation itself are agreed with each owner.

The best way to explore what is possible is a conversation about how you intend to use the boat.
